  2. reflect light passing through the lens into
  3. the viewfinder, showing the photographer the
  4. exact scene which is being shot. When the
  5. shutter button is released the mirror springs
  6. out of the way, allowing light to reach the
  7. film. The commonest type is the single-lens
  8. reflex (SLR) camera. The twin-lens reflex
  9. (TLR) camera has two lenses: one has a mirror
  10. for viewing, the other is used for exposing
  11. the film.
